Poetry and Art

This project explores the creative process of transforming a written poem into a series of visual illustrations. By closely analyzing the poem’s themes, emotions, symbols, and narrative structure, the project investigates how literary elements can be reinterpreted and expressed through imagery. The work involves experimenting with different artistic styles, colour palettes, and composition techniques to capture the poem’s mood and depth. The project also reflects on how visual interpretations can enhance, expand, or even shift a reader’s understanding of the poem. Ultimately, it aims to bridge the gap between literary and visual art, demonstrating the power of multidisciplinary storytelling.
